Solution dyed acrylic fabric is a perfect choice for all outdoor application because of its outstanding fade resistant performance and olorfastness to water, colorfastness to washing , and color reproducibility. Its ultraviolet blocking agents protect the fabrics from fast aging caused by the effect of UV radiation so it is well recognized to be very durable under various weather conditions.
During manufacturing the acrylic fiber is dyed while it is still in a viscous form, we blend pigment and polymerthe so color is locked in before the fiber even becomes a solid. This allows the color all the way through the yarn once it is extruded. This process allows the color to be mixed into the solution thoroughly, bringing the color all the way through the fiber once it is extruded, creating a colorfast fabric much stronger than that obtained by dyeing the thread. Not only because the solution dyed acrylic fabric offer a more natural look and feel, the fiber’s polymer itself has an inherent resistance to ultraviolet degradation, which exceeds that of other fibers such as polypropylene, olefin and polyester. As a result, we have a fabric that is less vulnerable to UV radiation and the guarantee that its colors will remain permanent and bright for many years.
Another acrylic fabric that is often promoted for outdoor use, is yarn-dyed, which means the color does not permeate all the way though, causing it to fall short stringent standards for fade and bleach tests. This means that the color pigments go all the way into the fiber (similar to the carrot shown below), not just on the surface of the fiber (like you see with cucumber). This gives the fabrics a superior color fastness and makes the colors shine for a longer period of time.
Solution dyed acrylic fabric has mold resistant qualities (mildew grows on dirt, pollen and other organic matter, so simple routine cleanings will prevent mildew from forming). In addition, the solution-dyed acrylic waterproof fabric can be bleached to remove tougher stains without compromising color.
Our material has Teflon® PTFE treatment, the acrylic fiber is soaked with a Teflon-based coating that has the remarkable property of being both hydrophobic (water shedding) and oleophobic (oil shedding). Water cannot readily wet out the surfaces. The water droplets behave like mercury when confronted with the coated surface. Teflon coatings create a water-repellant (hydrophobic) and oil-repellant (oleophobic) surface to repel water, dust, oil, and dirt on surfaces allowing for easy-clean. |

Cleaning Instructions:
Remove loose dirt by shaking or brushing off the fabric.
Use cool to lukewarm water mixed with a mild soap to rub gently into the fabric, thoroughly soaking it.
Rinse out very well and allow to air dry. Do not machine dry.
Solution dyed acrylic fabric features:
- WATER REPELLENCY: Our fabrics are designed and treated to obtain the highest values.
- SAFE & CLEAN FINISH: This finish enables the fabric to be self-cleaning, water slides easily over the whole area, sweeping along any liquid stain that might be on the surface, making its maintenance and hygiene easier. All splashes, dry stains and spills can be easily removed with a clean cloth or a scrubbing brush.
- DURABILITY: For its excellent performance and durability outdoors, our acrylic fabrics are suitable for a long exposure to weather.
- COLOUR FASTNESS: The color in our acrylic outdoor fabric, comes from solution dyed fiber, which guarantees an intrinsic and long-lasting color, even if you clean with bleach. Our fabrics are classified according to current regulations as 7-8 in the blue scale.
- ABRASION RESISTANCE: Stands up well to surface wear (or rubbing against another fabric during normal day to day use) with up to 60,000 double rubs on the Wyzenbeek abrasion test scale.

Q&A
How Is Solution Dyed Acrylic Fabric Different From Other Fabrics?
Acrylic fabrics are durable, high-performance synthetic fabrics made from acrylic fibres. They have some advantages including lower specific gravity, mildew-resistant properties and an ability to manage moisture. Even without added colour, they’re a great choice. However, nobody wants to be limited to boring, white fabric. When you add colour to acrylic, it comes to life. The method that you use to attach the dye has a high impact on how long it will stay true. Solution-dyed acrylic fabrics keep their colour longer because of the specific process that’s used to dye the fibres.
The benefits of solution-dying fibres aren’t immediately apparent. You might not notice any difference between them and their vat-dyed peers unless you look under a microscope. However, in practical use, their value becomes clear. Because the colour saturates each entire fibre and thread, it’s almost impossible to fade or bleach it away. Solution-Dyed acrylic fabrics are some of the most colourfast in the textile industry. They’re ideal for healthcare and foodservice applications because you can clean them with harsh, germ-killing substances like diluted chlorine bleach without losing their vibrancy. They’re also ideally suited for outdoor use in both residential and commercial settings.
Piece-dyed fabrics such as nylon and polyester start to fade almost immediately after sun or water exposure, but solution-dyed fabrics stay bright and cheery through every season. In the past, solution-dyed fabrics were typically not as luminous as yarn-dyed fabrics, but they’ve come a long way. Today’s solution-dyed fabrics are rich and vibrant enough to rival the brightest surface-coloured alternatives easily.
