DLT-PJ9000 PTFE-coated fiberglass membrane is an architectural fabric for tensile roofs, canopies, atriums and building facades. Its 1600gsm construction combines an EC6 fiberglass base with a multilayer PTFE coating. Use the technical datasheet below to compare fabric width, thickness, tensile strength and light transmission with your project requirements.
PTFE fiberglass membrane supplier that provides fiberglass membrane coated with PTFE produces a photocatalytic membrane that functions like the leaves of a tree, providing shade and comfort while actively neutralizing airborne pollutants and odors. Coated PTFE is a popular choice with designers and architects in sustainable commercial roofing market sectors throughout Asia and is now beginning to find its niche in custom tensile systems in North America. The unique self-cleaning benefits of fiberglass membrane allow the material to break down dirt and other organic materials through a chemical reaction with the sun’s UV rays, oxygen and water vapor, present in the air. This reaction, known as oxidation-reduction, converts these materials into harmless gases and natural components without using excess chemicals, solvents or water. The resulting sediments are simply washed away by rain. As a result, the membrane material remains bright and clean, reducing the need for frequent service.

FEP WELDING FOR DLT-PJ9000
Fabrication of DLT-PJ9000 PTFE-coated fiberglass membrane uses 0.8mm FEP welding strip. When planning tensile architectural panels, specify the welding process together with the fabric grade and seam layout.
High-frequency welding
Use a dedicated high-frequency welding machine with a current setting of 1.0–1.2A and a welding time of 8–10sec.
Hot-air welding
The separate hot-air process uses 550°C and a travel speed of 4–5m/min. The two processes use their respective settings: current and time for high-frequency welding, temperature and speed for hot-air welding.
