The best way to travel between Shanghai and Haining is by bullet train. There are plenty of high-speed trains running on the Shanghai – Hangzhou High-Speed Railway line and the average journey duration on high-speed trains is about 45mins. As the trains depart frequently, it’s very convenient for you to adjust your schedule. If you miss your train, you can easily get a replacement ticket at a ticket window and catch a train soon after.
From Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station “上海虹桥” to Tongxiang station “桐乡站” to Haining”海宁”
Haining does not have bullet train station in the city. Tongxiang station 桐乡站 is the closest bullet train startion from haining. So when you buy bullet train tickets, destination station should be Tongxiang station which is 40mins from Haining downtown. We will pick you up from tongxiang station. Western-style toilets are set at the end of each carriage and are equipped with toilet paper. However, they may occasionally run out of toilet paper, so you are recommended to bring your own, just in case.
